What we offer

Welcome to Rubuguri rainbow foundation, a community based organization that is dedicated to connecting tourists and local communities in the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Our goal is to create sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships between tourists and the local communities, while also promoting conservation and responsible tourism practices. At Rubuguri rainbow foundation, we understand the importance of responsible and sustainable tourism.

Foundation

Our foundation is about saving mountain gorillas through communities. We support our communities through projects that can also support conservation, education, and child sponsorship programs. We support the Batwa Tribe (forest people) so that they can fit in this modern world by planting trees and improving empowerment of women all through craft making, gardening, supporting wild rangers and supporting reformed poachers through beekeeping project and sheep rearing.
